The service behind this site

Big Trade Data Ltd. (BTD) has been supplying trade data since 2004, and serves 120,000+ companies. The records, the invoicing and the contract are all theirs.

This site is an independent domain, hosted outside mainland China. The Chinese-language site is at tradedata.cc. Both lead to the same provider and the same records.

Authorisations

What we hold, stated precisely

LinkedIn Sales Navigator — official authorised partner. This is what makes the contact layer legitimate rather than scraped. We state it as the partnership it is; we do not call it an “authorised database”, because that is not what it is.
D&B Hoovers® — licensed data. Used for company standing, ownership and credit signals, covering 220 countries.
National customs authorities — published declarations. The shipment-level records come from what customs authorities publish. The open statistical layer is UN Comtrade.
Company website: bigtradedata.com — corporate details, news and public filings.

Limits

What we do not promise

A short list, because the absence of one is a warning sign in this industry:

No conversion rates. We do not know how many of your emails will get replies, and anyone who quotes you a number is guessing.
No uniform global coverage. Coverage differs by market and by product, and some markets publish nothing usable. The coverage page lists which is which.
No invented numbers. Where a figure is an estimate, it is labelled. We do not fill gaps with plausible-looking data.
No private personal data. Professional contact routes only. No private mobiles, no personal email addresses.
We will tell you when we are not the right fit. If your market is not covered at the level you need, that answer comes on the first call, not after an invoice.

Where the data comes from, and where we stop

Records used on this site are national customs declarations and UN Comtrade statistics — both published sources. Contact and company data are used under the partnerships listed above, not collected by scraping.

How your enquiry is handled is set out in the privacy policy: what is collected, why, who processes it, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted.
