Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to the information you send us through en.tradedata.cc, why we ask for it, and how to have it removed. It is short on purpose — there is not much to explain.
Who is responsible for your data
This site is operated for Big Trade Data Ltd. (BTD), founded 2004. BTD is the party that receives and stores enquiries made through this site.

What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form, plus basic technical data your browser sends to any website.
- What you enter: work email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), company name, the product or HS code you are interested in, and the market you are asking about.
- What is collected automatically: IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is standard server logging plus, where enabled, website analytics.
We do not ask for and do not want special-category data (health, political views, religion, and so on). Please do not send it.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry — the only reason you are asked to fill anything in. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you press Send, and our legitimate interest in answering a business request.
- To understand what works — aggregated statistics on which pages are read and which enquiries come through, so we can improve the site.
We do not sell your details. We do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for. We contact you about your enquiry and nothing else.
Who processes it on our behalf
A small number of service providers are involved. Each is bound by its own terms and, where applicable, a data processing agreement.
- FormSubmit — relays the enquiry form to our mailbox. Form submissions pass through their service.
- Google Analytics 4 (when enabled) — aggregated visitor statistics. IP addresses are anonymised.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (when enabled) — measures the results of LinkedIn campaigns. Set by LinkedIn, not by us.
- Our hosting provider — the server outside mainland China on which this site runs.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no login, no cart, and no preference stored beyond a local light/dark theme setting that stays in your browser.
The analytics and advertising tools listed above may set their own cookies once enabled. You can block them in your browser settings without losing access to anything on this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted, unless an ongoing business relationship requires otherwise. Server logs are rotated within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is wrong;
- have it deleted;
- object to or restrict how it is used;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect what happened before you withdrew).
To exercise any of these: email dayang@bigtradedata.com with the subject line “Data request”. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. You do not need to give a reason.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the staff who need it to answer you. No system is perfect — if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you directly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page will change. We do not make quiet edits to how your information is used.
